            Candidiates
            To:ap.maurosr@verizon.net
I had mentioned to most of you that Jennifer Beck, Declan O Scanlon and
Caroline Casagrande (District 12) were very appreciative of our
efforts in adding to the success of their campaign. Below is a copy of a
letter I just received from our newest Senator, Assemblywoman and
Assemblyman recognizing our contributions and expressing their gratitude.

I would like to again thank each and every one of you for your
tremendous efforts and for proving that sportsmen and sportswomen have a
significant presence in the political landscape.

We have a lot that needs to be accomplished over the coming years. The
strength of our success is founded in the "grassroots" aspect of the
NJOA - important to remember is that this aspect begins and ends with
each of our individual commitment and participation. In short - we are
bigger than the sum of our parts.

Thank you and Happy Holidays

Mr. Anthony Mauro
New Jersey Outdoor Alliance

Dear Anthony,

We would like to thank the New Jersey Outdoor Alliance for your support
in this year’s state Legislative elections. It is fair to say
that the hard work, phone calls, emails and (most importantly) votes of
your members were a very big factor in our victory at the polls on
 November 6th.

We would also like to congratulate you on the successful birth of your
organization. Pulling together so many groups which, by many
people’s admissions, had worked at cross purposes in the past, and turning
them into an organized and effective group, able to speak with one voice
within a matter of months was truly an amazing feat. We look forward
to working with you in the future on issues affecting sportsmen, land
 conservation and preservation.

Keep up the great work.

Sincerely,
